park city CHRISTMAS & pasadena NEW YEARS

Las Vegas Bowl

Third Row, 35 yard line--its good to have friends especially when they are connected with the BYU Athletic Department

The rule breakers of the family ran onto the field as time expired

Whit's friend, Bryan Kehl--such a nice guy besides being a great football player

The Criddler--this guy is the funniest.   Besides being a talented football player, he is pure entertainment (there truly isn't a funnier guy in Provo).

HAPPY THANKSGIVING.
the lemmon clan enjoyed turkey day in utah.

the best part of the week was when marilyn received her endowment at the provo temple. nan was her escort and it was a great experience--no empty chairs in the lemmon family. whitney also had the awesome experience of being able to take kelsey to do baptisms for her first time. so all of the lemmons were inside the temple at the same time!
and let us not forget the beautiful game on saturday. go cougars! and whitney is happy to report that she did rush the field at the end of the game and did not let any "authorities" guilt her into turning around and going back into the stands like last year. Jeff was so proud.

Nursing School--Semester 1

Whitney started nursing school this fall at BYU and loves it. As the school's motto indicates, nursing truly is the "Healer's Art". She has had many experiences in her clinical at an Alzheimer's Unit in Salt Lake testifying to this fact. On her first day, she washed someone's feet. A friend of hers felt the spirit of a patient's husband prompting her how to take care of his wife. In addition to all of the serious stuff, nursing is a lot of fun! Students learned how to give shots by giving them to each other--intradermal (just beneath the skin), deltoid (shoulder), subcutaneous (abdomen), and ventrogluteal (butt). Needless to say, all of the nursing students are getting to know each other very well! They were told to "dart" the needle in which was an interesting visual when getting ready to puncture someone's skin for the first time. No student hit bone so it was a good day!
